The open source leader Canonical launched a website, (https://tutorials.ubuntu.com/) The new Ubuntu Tutorials website features tutorials of their latest technology like Snaps, Canonical’s distro-agnostic package management format and some more. Canonical says that this initiative will improve documentation across their projects, and help users to understand the complex technology with simple examples.
It’s great to see Canonical tackling the confusing knot of technologies and frameworks that hinder development in the open source world. Also, we can expect more new topics very soon.
Naturally the new Ubuntu Tutorials website is open-source, and the code is available from the Ubuntu Tutorials GitHub repository.
Canonical plan to make it easy for developers to contribute their own tutorials to the site.
