The Korean Smart phone manufacture Samsung introduced their payment service Samsung Pay in India. Now it rolled out with support for banks Axis, HDFC, ICICI, SBI, and Standard Chartered, and credit and debit cards from MasterCard and Visa. Samsung has also teamed up with Paytm. Samsung Pay came to India in very perfect time after Government’s digital cash initiative.

Currently limited models of Samsung supports Samsung Pay, and the support will be extended for other models sooner.Samsung Pay works with Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7.

Also, the CEO of Apple Tim Cook, promised their Apple Pay support to India and it is coming soon in iPhone devices.

India is the 13th Country that supports Samsung Pay, also Samsung pay already available in China, USA and Korea.
